  • The theme for World Space Week 2021 has been chosen to be ‘Women in Space’.
  • The World Space Week is an UN-declared celebration of space (since 1999) and is considered as the largest space event on earth.
  • World Space Week is officially defined as “an international celebration of science and technology, and their contribution to the betterment of the human condition”.
