Sudan’s PM Abdalla Hamdok reappointed

  • Sudan’s removed Prime Minister Abdalla Hamdok was reappointed after signing a political declaration to end the current political crisis by Hamdok and Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, general commander of the Sudanese Armed Force. 
  • Before becoming prime minister, Hamdok worked for the U.N. 
  • Economic Commission for Africa, the African Development Bank and as a special adviser at the Trade and Development Bank in Ethiopia.
