India's Harnaaz Sandhu wins Miss Universe 2021

• India’s Harnaaz Sandhu has been crowned Miss Universe 2021 as she swiftly occupied the top spot on the trends list after search trends increased. 

• Punjab-based Harnaaz Sandhu represented India at the 70th Miss Universe 2021, held in Eilat, Israel.

• Harnaaz was crowned Miss Universe 2021 as she beat Paraguay's Nadia Ferreira and South Africa's Lalela Mswane. 

• Only two Indians have won the title of Miss Universe before Harnaaz Sandhu - actors Sushmita Sen in 1994 and Lara Dutta in 2000.
