- Indian mathematician Neena Gupta has been honoured with the Ramanujan Prize for Young Mathematicians, 2021.
- She received the prize for her outstanding work in affine algebraic geometry and commutative algebra, in particular for her solution to the Zariski cancellation problem for affine spaces.
- The award was founded in 2004, and the first recipient in 2005 was Brazilian mathematician Marcello Viana.
- Neena Gupta is the third woman to receive the Ramanujan Prize.
