UP’s Jhansi Railway Station renamed as ‘Veerangana Laxmibai Railway Station

• The Uttar Pradesh government has renamed Jhansi railway station as Veerangana Laxmibai railway station. 

• The state government changed the name of the railway station after approval from the Central Government.

• The announcement was made by UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday in a tweet in Hindi. 

• "The Jhansi Railway station will now be known as 'Veerangana Laxmibai Railway Station',” Yogi Adityanath wrote.
