Eun Suk-yol to be the new President of South Korea


  • Yun Suk-yol, leader of the People's Power Party, has been elected President of South Korea.
  •  South Korea's presidential election was held on March 9, with a voter turnout of 77.1 percent.
  •  There are 44 million voters in the country, out of which 34 million voters had exercised their franchise.
  • Eun Suk-yol received 48.56 percent of the vote, while his main rival, Lee Jae-myung, a candidate of South Korea's ruling Democratic Party, got 47.83 percent of the vote.
