• The Netherlands won their fourth title of the FIH Junior Women's Hockey World Cup 2022 by defeating Germany in Potchefstroom, South Africa.

• In the third place match, England defeated India 3–0 in a shootout to claim the bronze medal.

• The FIH has banned Russia from the 2022 Women's FIH Hockey Junior World Cup due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022.

• The 2023 Women's FIH Hockey Junior World Cup will be the tenth edition and will be held in Santiago, Chile.
