• Economist Suman Berry will be the new Deputy Chairman of NITI Aayog.

• Rajiv Kumar, the current Deputy Chairman of NITI Aayog, has resigned from his post.

•   Suman Beri has been made the Deputy Chairman of NITI Aayog after Rajiv Kumar's resignation.

• He will assume office from May 1.

• Rajiv Kumar was in the post of Deputy Chairman of NITI Aayog since the year 2017.
