Bengaluru One Health Pilot Project

• On June 28, 2022, The Ministry of dairying and animal husbandry launched ‘One Health’ pilot project in Bengaluru.

• The One Health Pilot Project will bring stakeholders from human, animal, and environment health on single platform, in order to formulate solutions for preventing outbreak of zoonotic disease like covid-19 pandemic in future.

• Success of the pilot project will help the centre in developing a national ‘One Health’ roadmap.

• The roadmap will be equipped with better response mechanism and management.

• It will also incorporating best practices from the world.
