Children in Street Situations (CiSS) App

• Children in Street Situations (CiSS) App was launched by ‘National Commission for the Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR)’ for the rehabilitation of children.

• This app was launched under Baal Swaraj portal, in order to help in rehabilitation process of Children in Street Situations.

• CiSS application is used to receive data of children in street situations from states and union territories, in order to track their rescue and rehabilitation process.

• Initiative is being taken under the direction of the Supreme Court.

• Initiative has been launched under Article 51 (A) of the Constitution of India.
