- The National Highways Excellence Awards 2021 was organised by Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) at Vigyan Bhavan in Delhi.
- This event was organised under “Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav”.
- It was organised under the theme “Innovation and Excellence in Road Construction”.
- These awards will inspire and infuse energy among engineers and workers who are involved in highway construction.
- 122 nominations were received, out of this 89 were found to be valid. Lastly, 58 nominations were shortlisted. 37 nominations were selected for Field Assessment.
- Finally, 13 nominations were selected for the awards.
