New chairman of the Financial Action Task Force

  • Singapore's T. Raja Kumar has been appointed as the chairman of the Financial Action Task Force, an anti-money laundering watchdog.
  • Kumar replaces Marcus Pleier.
  • He will discharge his service for the next two years.
  • Kumar had been assisting the Ministry of Home Affairs, Singapore and the Singapore Police Force for over 35 years.
