New Prime Minister Of Kuwait

• The Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, issued a decree appointing Sheikh Mohammed Sabah Al Salem as the new prime minister.

• The appointment of the new prime minister comes three months after former prime minister Sheikh Sabah al-Khalid Hamad al-Sabah submitted his resignation, the fourth in the past two and a half years.

• He is the fourth son of the 12th Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Sabah Al Salem Al Sabah.
