New Chairman of Central Vigilance Commissioner

• Suresh N Patel took oath as the Central Vigilance Commissioner on Wednesday.

• This information was given in a release issued by Rashtrapati Bhavan.

• Patel, who has been serving as the caretaker CVC since June this year, was sworn in as the head of the Central Vigilance Commission by President Draupadi Murmu at the Rashtrapati Bhavan.

•  Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu also attended the ceremony.
