- Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had talked about issuing ‘UP Parivar Kalyan Card’ soon for all the families of the state.
- Under this, the benefits of various welfare schemes running in the state can be availed.
- This will also help those families who are deprived of the schemes due to any reason.
- This card will be generated with the help of ration card data, with the help of which this process can be simplified and all government schemes can be integrated.
- At present, there are 15 crore Aadhaar valid ration card holders in Uttar Pradesh who can be issued Parivar Kalyan cards immediately.
- About 60 percent of the state is covered by ration cards.
