Naval Exercise Confluence

• The 7th edition of Abhyas Sangam began on 01 December 2022 at Goa.

• Exercise Sangam is a joint Naval Special Forces exercise between the Indian Navy MARCOS and the US Navy SEALs. It was first organized in 1994.

• In the 7th edition, personnel from SEAL Team Five based at San Diego, USA and Indian Navy MARCOS from INS Abhimanyu are participating.

• The exercise is planned for a period of three weeks.

• It aims to exchange views and experiences on various aspects of Maritime Special Operations.
