New Director General of DGCA

• Vikram Dev Dutt will be the new Director General of DGCA.

• The appointment of Vikram Dev Dutt as the new Director General of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has been approved by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet.

• He will succeed Arun Kumar on 28 February 2023.

• Vikram Dev Dutt is currently serving as the Chairman and Managing Director of Air India Asset Holding Limited (AIAHL).

• Vikram Dev Dutt has held various positions including Principal Secretary Finance in the Government of Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Secretary Tourism in the Government of Goa etc.
