Gyanappan Award 2023

• Famous poet V. Madhusudanan Nair has been selected for the Gyanappan Award 2023.

• The Gyanappan Award gives a cash prize of ₹ 50,001, a gold locket of Guruvayurappan and a citation.

• The award will be presented to the poet by Higher Education Minister R Bindu on 24 February at the Melpathur Auditorium of Guruvayur.

• Madhusudanan has been selected for the award for his contribution to literature.

• The Gyanappan Award was established by Guruvayur Devaswom in memory of 'Panthanam Nambuthiri'.
