- More than 50 countries and international maritime agencies are participating in the International Maritime Exercise/Cutlass Express 2023 (IMX/CE-23).
- It is being organized from February 26 to March 16, 2023 in the Gulf region.
- Indian Navy is participating in IMX for the first time. Earlier, INS Trikand participated in the CMF-led Operation Sea Sword 2 on 22 November.
- IMX/CE-23 is one of the largest maritime exercises in the world. It was hosted by the US Naval Forces Central Command (NAVCENT).
- 7,000 soldiers, 35 ships and 30 unmanned and artificial intelligence systems are participating in the exercise.
