• Indian women wrestlers won a total of seven medals in the Asian Wrestling Championships held in Astana, Kazakhstan.

• These include two silver and five bronze medals.

• Last Panghal has won silver in 53 kg weight category and Nisha Dahiya in 68 kg weight category.

• In the previous edition of this championship, India had won 5 medals and finished fourth.
