New President of NRAI

• Senior Vice President Kalikesh Narayan Singh Deo became the new President of the National Rifle Association of India (NRAI).

• He succeeds Raninder Singh, who went on leave after serving for over 12 years as the NRAI President.

• Raninder served as the chairman from December 29, 2010 to December 29, 2022.

• The Sports Ministry has asked the NRAI to conduct the election for the post of president within the stipulated time frame.
