- India Defense Conclave 2023 was organized by eGovernment on 26 May 2023 in New Delhi. Brahmos and Midhani were its co-host partners.
- The theme of the conclave was "Promoting Self Reliance in Aerospace and Defense Sector".
- Dr Jitendra Singh informed that the National Quantum Mission (NQM) has been approved by the Union Cabinet from 2023-24 to 2030-31 at a total cost of over Rs 6,000 crore.
- He said that the space sector has been opened up for private participation, which has led to the creation of more than 105 startups in the space sector within about three years.
- He said that five PSLVs are being produced domestically by L&T and HAL.
- Mishra Dhatu Nigam Limited (MIDHANI) is a PSU under the administrative control of Ministry of Defence. It is the only producer of titanium in India.
