New Chairman of Central Vigilance Commissioner


  • Praveen Kumar Srivastava took oath as the Central Vigilance Commissioner.
  • President Draupadi Murmu conducted the process of taking oath.
  • Srivastava was serving as the acting Central Vigilance Commissioner (CVC) since December last year.
  • He is a 1988-batch (retired) Indian Administrative Service officer of the Assam-Meghalaya cadre.
  • He has also served as Chief Vigilance Officer in RITES Limited.
