- In 2022, the Nobel Peace Prize was jointly awarded to the Belarusian human rights lawyer Ales Bylyatsky, the Russian human rights organization Memorial, and the Ukrainian human rights organization Center for Civil Liberties.
- The prize, worth approximately US$1 million, will be awarded in Oslo on December 10, the death anniversary of Alfred Nobel.
