International Anti Corruption Day 2023

• International Anti-Corruption Day is celebrated every year on 9 December.

• The theme of International Anti-Corruption Day 2023 is "UNCAC at 20: Uniting the World Against Corruption".

• The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) organizes International Anti-Corruption Day (IACD) every year.

• The United Nations General Assembly adopted 9 December as International Anti-Corruption Day to raise awareness about corruption. This day is being celebrated every year since 2005.

• In 2003, the United Nations General Assembly adopted the United Nations Convention against Corruption. This convention came into force in December 2005.
