- With the imposition of UAPA on MLJK-MA, the organization will now be subject to the terms and penalties of the UAPA Act.
- Several criminal cases have been registered against this organization under various sections of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act 1967.
- It supported terrorist activities and instigated people to establish Islamic rule in Jammu and Kashmir.
- The main objective of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act is to prevent organizations carrying out unlawful activities in India.
