World's first portable hospital

• The world's first portable hospital Arogya Maitri Cube was unveiled in Gurugram on December 2, 2023.

• This is an innovative medical facility resulting from indigenous design under the ‘Bheeshma’ project.

• India has unveiled the world's first portable disaster hospital, Arogya Maitri Cube, an unprecedented facility in Gurugram that can be airlifted and has 72 cubes.

•   This extraordinary effort is a component of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's ambitious “Project Bhishma” (India Health Initiative for Cooperation, Interest and Friendship), unveiled in February 2022.
