New Chairman of Kotak Mahindra Bank

• The Reserve Bank of India has approved the appointment of C S Rajan as part-time Chairman of Kotak Mahindra Bank, his tenure will commence from January 1, 2024 and will last for two years.

• A retired Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the 1978 batch, Rajan served as the Chief Secretary of the Government of Rajasthan until 2016.
