- This is the 5th edition of the joint military exercise 'Dharma Guardian' between the Indian Army and Japan Ground Self Defense Force.
- It started from Mahajan Field Firing Range in Rajasthan.
- It is scheduled to run from 25 February to 9 March 2024.
- Each side has forty personnel in its contingent.
- Soldiers from the 34th Infantry Regiment are representing the Japanese side.
- Rajputana Rifles battalion is representing the Indian Army contingent.
- The exercise aims to promote military cooperation and improve joint capabilities to conduct joint operations in semi-urban environments under Chapter VII of the United Nations Charter.
