  • United World Wrestling lifts suspension from Indian Wrestling Federation.
  • United World Wrestling (UWW) reviewed the WFI's suspension and decided to lift the ban.
  • United World Wrestling (UWW) also directed that no discriminatory action will be taken against Bajrang Punia, Vinesh Phogat and Sakshi Malik for protesting.
  • On August 23, 2023, United World Wrestling had banned the Indian Wrestling Federation.
