- On March 23, 1931, the British rulers hanged Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev for their revolutionary activities against the British rule.
- On 8 April 1929, Bhagat Singh and Batukeshwar Dutt threw bombs in the Central Legislative Assembly in protest against the Public Safety Bill and the Trade Disputes Bill.
- In 1928, Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru were hanged for the murder of British officer John Saunders.
