- A new version of medium-range ballistic missile capable of attacking targets at a distance of more than 250 km has been launched by India.
- The missile's performance was monitored by multiple range sensors such as radar, electro-optical tracking system (EOTS) and telemetry deployed by the ITR.
- This new version of the medium-range ballistic missile was tested on April 23, 2024, under the auspices of the Strategic Forces Command.
- This launch has validated the command's operational capability and validated new technologies.
