• Indian weightlifter Bindirani Devi won the bronze medal in the women's 55 kg event at the IWF World Cup.

• He won the bronze medal with a total lift of 196 kg (83 kg+113 kg).

• Bindyarani Devi's total weight was 38 kg less than Kang Hyeon Gyeong of North Korea, who won the gold medal for her effort of 234 kg (103 kg + 131 kg).

• Romania's Cambei Mihaela-Valentina won the silver medal with a total lift of 201 kg (91 kg+110 kg).

• Bindyarani also won a silver medal in the clean and jerk category by lifting 113 kg.
