77th Cannes Film Festival

• A film by FTII students has won the 'La Cinef' award at the 77th Cannes Film Festival in France.

• The name of the film is "Sunflowers were the first to know".

• This is a film by Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) Pune student Chidanand S Naik and his team.

• The film is directed by Chidanand S Naik and filmed by Sooraj Thakur. It has been edited by Manoj V.

• This recognition comes four years after another film by FTII students, 'Catdog', won the award at the 73rd Cannes.
