Cricketer Dinesh Karthik announced his retirement

• Wicketkeeper-batsman, Dinesh Karthik officially announced his retirement from all forms of cricket.

• He played 180 matches across all three formats. He scored 3463 runs with one Test century and 17 half-centuries.

• He played his last match in the 2024 edition of the IPL against Rajasthan Royals on May 22.

• Karthik also has 172 dismissals to his name. He has played for six teams in the IPL.
