- Tamil writer Sivasankari will be awarded the 'Viswambhara' Dr. C. Narayana Reddy National Literary Award-2024.
- Sivasankari will be given this award for her contribution in the field of literature.
- Sivasankari will be given a cash prize of ₹5 lakh, a memento and a shawl.
- Sivasankari will be given the award during the 93rd birth anniversary celebrations of Dr. C. Narayana Reddy in Hyderabad on July 29.
- Telangana CM Revanth Reddy will be the chief guest. Sivasankari is a recipient of the Saraswati Samman Award.
