New Chief Justice of Jharkhand High Court

• On July 5, Justice Vidyut Ranjan Sarangi was sworn in as the 15th Chief Justice of Jharkhand High Court.

• Justice Sarangi was administered the oath by Governor CP Radhakrishnan at the Raj Bhawan in Ranchi.

• Cabinet Secretary Vandana Dadel read out the warrant of appointment issued by President Draupadi Murmu.

• After the retirement of Justice Sanjay Kumar Mishra on December 28, 2023, the post of Chief Justice of Jharkhand High Court was left vacant.
