- The scores of states now range from 57 to 79, while those of Union Territories range from 65 to 77.
- Uttarakhand and Kerala are the top-performing states in the index with 79 points, followed by Tamil Nadu at second place with 78 points and Goa at third place with 77 points.
- Bihar (57), Jharkhand (62), and Nagaland (63) are the worst-performing states in this year's index.
- Among Union Territories, the top five performers were Chandigarh, Jammu and Kashmir, Puducherry, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, and Delhi.
