Asian Surfing Championships 2024

• India won the silver medal at the Maruhaba Cup of the Asian Surfing Championship 2024 at Thulusdhoo, Maldives.

• Japan won the gold medal at the Maruhaba Cup final of the Asian Surfing Championship 2024.

• Taipei and China finished third and fourth respectively.

• Earlier, the Indian team finished first in the Heat 2 semi-final with a total score of 32.16.

• The team comprised Kamali P, Ajeesh Ali, Srikanth D and Sanjay Selvamani.

• Taipei finished second while Republic of Korea finished third in the same semi-final.
