National Space Day 2024

• The first National Space Day in India was celebrated on August 23, 2024.

• On August 23, 2023, the Chandrayaan-3 mission completed the safe and soft landing of Vikram lander on the surface of the moon.

• President Draupadi Murmu inaugurated the main function, which was held at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi.

• The theme of National Space Day 2024 is "Touching lives by touching the Moon: India's space saga."
