- Bangladesh has been declared the new champion of the SAFF (South Asian Football Federation) Under-20 Championship football tournament.
- Bangladesh won the title by defeating host Nepal 4-1 in the final match held at the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) ground in Satdobato, Lalitpur on 28 August.
- For the first time in history, Bangladesh has won this championship.
- Along with Nepal and Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, India, Maldives and Bhutan also participated in this competition which started on August 18, 2024.
