Clean Air Survey 2024

• Surat city ranked first in the Union Environment Ministry's Clean Air Survey 2024.

• Surat came in thirteenth place in the Clean Air Survey 2023, while Indore topped the list.

• The cities falling under the "Category 1" of the Clean Air Survey have a population of more than one million.

• Surat topped the list this year with 194 out of 200 points, followed by Jabalpur and Agra.

• Similarly, Firozabad topped the list of Category 2 cities (with a population of three to one million), followed by Amravati and Jhansi.

• Raebareli, Nalgonda and Nalagarh were at the top three positions in Category 3 cities (population less than 3 lakh).
