Deepthi Jeevanjee

• Deepti Jeevanji won the bronze medal in the women's 400m T20 event at the Paris Paralympics.

• Deepti finished the race in 55.82 seconds, after world record holder Aysel Onder of Turkey (55.23 seconds) and Yuliya Shuliar of Ukraine (55.16 seconds).

• Deepti finished first at the World Para-Athletics Championships in Japan in May.

• Deepti also set a new world record with a timing of 55.07 seconds, making her a strong medal contender at the Paris Paralympics.

• In May, Onder had finished second behind Deepti at the 2024 World Para-Athletics Championships.
