- The tournament will be held at the newly-built Rajgir Hockey Stadium, where India will defend their title against teams from China, Malaysia, Japan, Thailand and Korea.
- The Rajgir Hockey Stadium was inaugurated by Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on August 30.
- This will be the 8th edition of the Hockey Women's Asian Champions Trophy.
