- On November 28, JMM leader Hemant Soren was sworn in as the 14th Chief Minister of Jharkhand.
- Governor Santosh Kumar Gangwar administered the oath of office and secrecy to Mr Soren at a ceremony.
- Hemant Soren took oath as Jharkhand Chief Minister for the fourth time.
- Soren has just taken oath alone and a cabinet expansion is planned after the government wins the trust vote in the Assembly.
- The JMM-led alliance recently won a decisive victory in the state assembly elections, winning 56 of the 81 seats.
