First women battalion for CISF

• The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has approved the establishment of the first women's battalion in the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF).

•  This new women's battalion of CISF has been named the "Reserve Battalion".

• This battalion will be formed from CISF's existing workforce, which includes approximately 200,000 personnel. 

• The first women’s battalion of CISF will have more than 1,000 personnel.
