Under-19 World Boxing Championships

• India put up an impressive performance at the Under-19 World Boxing Championships in Colorado, USA, winning 17 medals including four gold in the men's and women's categories.

• The total 17 medals include 4 gold, 8 silver and 5 bronze medalists.

• The Indian boxing contingent comprised 19 boxers, including 9 men and 10 women, of which 12 athletes reached the finals, and every woman boxer won a medal.

• The four gold medalists included the only male champion Hemant Sangwan and women champions Krisha Verma, Parthavi Grewal and Vanshika Goswami.
