Eligibility Criteria
Before applying for the Calcutta High Court Recruitment 2024, candidates must meet the following eligibility requirements:
Educational Qualifications:
- Category A: Graduate in any one of the three languages (Hindi, Bengali, or English) from a recognized university with fluency in the other two languages.
- Category B: Graduate in Hindi from a recognized university with adequate knowledge of Urdu and English.
- Category C: Graduate in Nepalese from a recognized university with fluency in Bengali and English.
- Category D: Graduate in Olchiki or Santhali from a recognized university with fluency in Bengali and English.
Age Limit:
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 40 years as of January 1, 2025
- Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST candidates from West Bengal

Selection Process for Calcutta High Court Recruitment 2024
The selection will be based on a competitive examination which will include translation passages in different languages. The examination will assess the ability to translate from the specified language to English and vice versa. The total marks for the examination will be 100. Candidates will be selected on the basis of 1:3 ratio, depending on the vacancies in each category. A minimum of 20% marks is required to be eligible for selection.
