India Post Driver Recruitment 2024 Salary and Probation
Pay Scale: ₹19,900/- (Level 2 in the pay matrix as per 7th CPC).
Probation Period: Two years for direct recruits.

Age Limit (as of 12.01.2025)
Minimum: 18 years
Maximum: 27 years
Relaxation:
OBC: 3 years
SC/ST: 5 years
Ex-Servicemen: Relaxation as per government norms.
Educational and Other Qualifications
Valid driving license for light and heavy motor vehicles.
Knowledge of motor mechanisms (candidate should be able to remove minor vehicle defects).
At least three years of driving experience for light and heavy motor vehicles.
Passed 10th Standard from a recognized board or institution.
