BARC Scientific Officer Recruitment 2025 Selection Process
Computer-Based Test (CBT) Candidates will appear for a 2-hour objective-type online examination. Questions will be discipline-specific and designed to test knowledge and problem-solving ability.
GATE Score-Based Shortlisting Applicants can also be shortlisted based on their GATE 2023, 2024, or 2025 scores in relevant disciplines.
Selection Interview Shortlisted candidates will be called for interviews conducted in Mumbai or Hyderabad, depending on their discipline. The final selection will be based on performance in the interview.
BARC Scientific Officer Recruitment 2025 Training Programmes
OCES (Orientation Course for Engineering Graduates and Science Postgraduates) A one-year training course conducted at BARC Training Schools in Mumbai and Hyderabad. Successful trainees will be absorbed as Scientific Officer “C” in DAE units.
DGFS (DAE Graduate Fellowship Scheme) A two-year fellowship for engineering graduates to pursue an M.Tech. at select institutes, with tuition fees and a stipend provided.
